Visit by Prof. Shqiponja Ahmetaj (University of Wien) at the CIIT Lab
Last week, Prof. Shqiponja Ahmetaj from the Technical University of Wien (Austria), an internationally reowned expert in field of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning and Semantic Technologies, visited the CIIT Lab at the University of Salerno.
Her visit revolved around future research collaborations with the CIIT Lab on the themes of Explainable and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence.
“It was a pleasure for us to receive the visit from Prof. Ahmetaj, a colleague that we know since many years” – commented the director of the CIIT Lab, Prof. Antonio Lieto – “We discussed about a plan for a fruitful collaboration with the CIIT Lab in the coming years that requires the combination of expertise in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, an intesection that is at the core of interests of our lab”.
