Prof. Antonio Lieto included in the Stanford List of Top 2% Scientists
Prof. Antonio Lieto, director of the CIIT LAB, has been included in the 2025 World Top 2% Scientists list by Stanford University (USA) and Elsevier.
The World’s Top 2% Scientists ranks the top 2% of researchers in the world out of a total of over 200,000 names. The list highlights the world’s most influential scientists, ranking them based on their scientific impact, in terms of number of articles/publications and citations in their respective research areas.
The analysis examines 22 scientific areas and 174 subcategories, collecting data from Scopus and evaluating researchers’ scientific performance over the previous year based on standardized indicators (citations, h-index, hm-index adjusted for co-authorship, citations in articles in different authorship positions, and c-score composition indicator).
A total of 96 researchers from the University of Salerno, spanning all scientific areas, have been included in the World’s Top 2% Scientist (see https://www.unisa.it/unisa-rescue-page/dettaglio/id/529/module/326/row/28722/pubblicata-la-world-s-top-2-scientists-2025)
